Rusk Prairie Consulting Group Projects


	Hennepin Technical College A two phased research project designed to examine the strengths and weaknesses of the current Hennepin Technical College plastics program and identify the education and training needs of the Twin Cities plastics manufacturing industry. Research methodology included both telephone interviews and an industry focus group session.

	Polk Burnett Electric Cooperative - Touchstone Energy An in-depth attitudinal study of the Co-ops members included a Likert scale survey instrument and face-to face focus group interviews, Four demographic customer groups were examined with strategic recommendation developed for each sector. The project was completed in cooperation with A.J. Heinzen and Associates.

	Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology - UW Stevens Point A study to determine the feasibility and possible operating model for a Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology at UW-Stevens Point. The project's three phases included benchmarking, SWOT analysis, and a business/operational plan. The study was completed in cooperation with NorthStar Economics.

	Wisconsin Propane Gas Association A day-long change management workshop followed by a strategic planning session with the WPGA board of directors.

	CESA 11, Turtle Lake, Wisconsin This project included an in-depth planning session/retreat with the Director and management team. Also, change management presentations were made to CESA 11 personnel at the Fall kick-off session and to the CESA 11 board of directors.

	Menomonie Chamber of Commerce The Menomonie Chamber of Commerce project revolved around a facilitated strategic session for the Chambers board of directors. The process resulted in a complete review of the chamber's vision, mission and goals, as well as the responsibilities of each board member.

	West Central Wisconsin Workforce Resource A long term partnering and facilitation role to provide consulting services to the West Central Wisconsin Workforce Resource group. Duties included supporting various economic and community development coalitions and working with the board of directors in a strategic and long range planning process.

	Riverland Laser A long term project to provide Riverland Laser with a strategic change management process. Duties included a total management team reorganization, developing new job descriptions, mentoring, and training.

	Wisconsin Security Research Consortium A statewide assessment of research, science, and technology capacity to identify Wisconsin opportunities for homeland security projects and other federal research needs. Completed in conjunction with NorthStar Economics.
